Services on Ohlins TTX22m / TTX22m.2 are not the same everywhere
At PMB we have been working on Öhlins TTX22m and TTX22m.2 services since 2015. Since then we supported 3 generations of the Öhlins coil shock: original TTX22m, metric TTX22m and now TTX22m.2. Our work extended to the UCI DH World Cup as well as building many custom TTX22m and TTX22m.2 from scratch with the support of Öhlins.
Our level of service on TTX22m and TTX22m.2 include:
- Full disassembly of the rear shock, including body and eyelet
- Detailed inspection of the different parts: shafts, tube, shims, piston, valve..
- Replacement of all O-rings
- New sealhead
- New bladder
- New bumper
- New protection
- New Öhlins oil
- New assembly grease where it matters
- Vacuum bleeding using Öhlins-approved vacuum bleeding machine
- Full test: compression and rebound
This level of service mean that every TTX22m and TTX22m.2 coming here for service is rebuilt as new. This is very different from a simple oil change.
