Öhlins TTX22m.2 Tech Help
TTX22m.2 is a big upgrade over TTX22m with numerous improvements. This page is meant to make it easier to understand the TTX22m.2 range.
TTX22M.2 vs TTX22M
Differences between TTX22m.2 and the original TTX22m are described part by part in the following table:

TTX22m.2 Springs
TTX22m.2 use the same springs and metric and Trunnion TTX22m.
TTX22m.2 springs have series, and each serie has a name starting with "180" following by 2 numbers:
- 18073: this the biggest springs, meant for 70-75mm travel
- 18077: meant for 60-65mm travel; the highest spring rates in this serie have a length that is similar to 18073s and can also be used for 70-75mm travel
- 18075: meant for 50-55mm travel
- 18074: legacy serie that can still be used, good for 60-65mm travel and in some cases 55mm
When fitting a spring to a TTX22m.2 it is important to keep 3 rules in mind:
- It is always best to go with the recommend spring serie for your travel
- The spring should not be too short: never use a spring from a serie meant for travels under your targetted travel
- The spring can be longer thant the the recommended spring serie as long as it does not touch the cylinder head or the frame

Travel Change
Travel change is made easier than before on TTX22m.2 thanks to the use of external stop caps. Each unit is sold with a set of stop caps to allow for easy travel change. TTX22m.2 is also compatible with removable plastic stop caps and aluminium stop caps from TTX22m.
Mounting Hardware
TTX22m.2 is compatible with all mounting hardware meant for 15mm eyelets.
